Frequente is an organization devoted to sound arts. It aims to deepen and share the practice of sound, attentive with regard to contemporary art, architecture and music.
We promote the research and the artistic production, with particularly attention accorded to spatial practices, workshops, performances and projects able to enlarge the horizons of sound matters and to challenge the borders of auditive culture. Frequente is addressed to encourage international collaborations, in order to support artists mobility, with the aim to be an Italian pole in the international network of organisations specifically addressed to sound arts.
Frequente acts through curatorial practice,  live performances and hybrid sound related projects. It is based at Standards, in Milan. It is run by the artists Nicola Ratti, Enrico Malatesta, Attila Faravelli and the curator Gaia Martino.
